The caregivers on our registry can provide a wide range of services for our in-home care clients, including but not limited to ADL's (assisted daily living skills) such as bathing, dressing, feeding, toiletry. Also, medication reminders, companionship, outing, errands, mobility assistance, meal preparation and transportation. A caregiver may also provide light housekeeping, pet assistance and help with personal grooming. In-home consultations are also available to discuss individual needs. We can also provide child caregiver referrals for families visiting New Orleans. The Home Care is a broker/referral service for independent care providers. It is not a  provider of any home care, and it is not a licensed home-and-community-based service provider, as defined in La. Stat. Ann. §40:2120.2.  We do not supervise, manage, or monitor the independent care providers we refer to clients, and we make no representations or guarantees concerning the services they provide.  Our referral services are designed to assist those consumers who choose to self-manage their own care arrangement by helping them identify pre-vetted independent care providers.
